Eden Grove is found in the Gordon River Valley, only a 45-minute drive from Port Renfrew within the traditional territory of the Pacheedaht First Nation. The Grove includes about 30 hectares of unprotected, valley bottom ancient forest and is home to giant Douglas-fir and western redcedar trees, including one cedar that’s over 12 feet wide.

On Vancouver Island, 90% of the valley bottom ancient forest has already been logged.
