We’re incredibly grateful to three donors whose generosity is helping protect endangered ancient forests in BC: The Flanagan Foundation, which recently made a substantial donation to the old-growth campaign; The Frosted Tips Foundation, a consistent supporter; and Terra Canada Voyages Ltd.

Support from businesses and foundations like these shows a commitment to safeguarding some of the most biodiverse and irreplaceable ecosystems on Earth. Because of their generosity, and that of many other businesses and organizations, we’re able to advance a long-term conservation economy for BC, push forward solutions that ensure a transition to sustainable, second-growth forestry, increase public pressure and grow the movement for old-growth protection, and more.

For organizations, this kind of giving is also deeply impactful. It’s an opportunity to align values with action by demonstrating environmental leadership, supporting communities, and contributing to a legacy of conservation that benefits both people and the planet.

We hope their example inspires other organizations to join this growing movement. Protecting old-growth forests in BC is still one of the most urgent conservation priorities of our time, and this work depends on bold, values-driven action and nature-based solutions.
